Blogging about blogging

The comments on my last entry made me cry, more than once. Thank you so much for all the kind words, prayers and seemingly endless support. This blog started out for me as just a fun thing to do to document my pregnancy with triplets, but it's become so much more. It really has helped keep me sane through everything and been my therapy in a way. And it's helped me to meet so many amazing people who love Jack too, even without ever having known him. That means the world to me.

A lot of people in my 'real life' read this blog, and that's fine. But I've had so many strange moments with people, where I've started to tell them a story and they've said, oh you told me that already or wanted to show them pictures of the girls and they say, I saw these already. I think I'm losing my mind.... hmm, when did I tell them that story? And I just picked these pictures up!

Then it slowly dawns on me, that they must read my blog. Now I tend to go the other extreme and assume EVERYONE reads it. When I say, "So you know how the girls were baptized..." and someone says NO, really? When? How was it? I think.... are you playing with me or do you really not know? LOL

It has left me with very little to talk about with some people. We can talk about the blog. And then I write about talking about the blog... that's very meta, isn't it? I'm so hip.

Also, I finally started the site for Jack's Fund. There's not much on it now, but at least it's up! We are starting to plan the golf tournament for this summer, which I think is going to be a lot of fun. If only I knew anything about golf.

Here are some pictures that if I know you in real life I will try and show you next time you come over. Just humor me and pretend you never saw them.

We've got a little Mom's Group where we meet in the park on Wednesday and it's been really nice. The girls LOVE the swings, especially Katie, she kicks her legs and starts squealing the minute you put her in.

The girls always wake up SO happy. They were so cute the other day after their nap I just had to put them in Katie's crib together and take some pictures... and of course, Charlotte quickly grew unhappy. She wanted out of the crib, immediately. I was laughing so hard taking these pictures I was crying.

Poor Katie. She at first seems concerned for Charlotte, tries to comfort her even, then grows amused, then decides... eh, the hell with it, I'll just chew on her arm.

They are so funny! My babies don't chew each other (yet), but Alex has latched on to Mackenzie's nose and elbow, thinking that they were a nipple!

Wow, the girls don't look so much alike anymore. Katie is looking so much like you. The pics in the swing at the park are great.

As for your blog. I check it everyday for updates. Reading your story has helped me try to be a better person. I thank you for that and I thank Jack for that. You are a remarkable person and a wonderful mother. And in case there is no new entry before then, Happy First Mother's Day Megan!
Take care, hugs to you and your family.

The pics on the swings are so cute! I just want to say that I also check your blog every couple days to read how you are coping, feeling, to see new pictures of the girls. I have a son who is almost 7 months old and after reading your blog, I hug him a little tighter or give him a million kisses. I thank you for making me realize how blessed I am. I am one of those people that stumbled upon your blog-I don't read any other blog, just yours. I'm glad to "know" Jack and you through your blog. I pray with my little one every night and we pray for Jack and for you and your family.

I am another one of those people you don't even know, but I read your blog religiously. Found you through The Nest.

Anyway, I MUST say that these are the funniest pictures of the girls yet! The one with Charlotte, red-faced from crying, and Katie looking right at the camera like she's thinking, "What in the world is wrong with her?" is too funny. That's the perfect pic to sum them up, huh?
Too funny. . . keep your chin up. Your girls are lovely and so lucky to have you and PJ . . . not to mention also having Jack look after them!

Thanks for sharing your life with the world. I found your blog right before Jack died and I think of your family often. I don't know what it is like to lose a child, but I don't think you could share your thoughts and emotions with anymore grace than you do. You write with such honesty and you have touched many people. Jack has touched many people!

If you need any help or advice with the upcoming golf tournament please let me know. I have been working for non-profits since 2001 and have a lot of experience planning golf tournaments. I'm actually managing one this week. Just wanted to put that out there.

The arm chewing pics TOTALLY cracked me up. Charlotte was so done and Katie was like "hmmmm, look a tasty arm"

The girls are so cute!!!

I also assume everyone I know reads the blog, and actually get annoyed if someone seems to not know what's going on with me and think "Don't they read the blog??!". Haha.

Aren't they just adorable! My goodness! I almost got that purple floral romper and didn't, now I wish I had. Too cute!

Happy Mother's Day! I'm thinking of you, Katie, your Charlotte, and Jack today.

I'm just stopping by to wish you a Happy Mother's Day. I can't imagine the mix of emotions you are feeling today. I thought of you many times and thought it was important to share that with you.

I do not know you personally but I think of you often. I remember your Jack often and love to peek on the blog and see the sweet faces of your beauiful children.

Happy Mother's Day my fellow triplet mama,
