In other news

The girls are doing well, though I think Katie might be getting another cold. She's very sneezy and congested. There's been some debate over whether she's teething or not also....she seems to me to show a lot of the signs. She loves to chew on your finger or the pacifier, she's always chewing on her fist, she's been a bit fussy, her cheeks are frequently red, and she's pretty drooly.

My mother says it's impossible because she's way too young. My mother in law says it's definitely possible and PJ had his first tooth at 3 months... so who knows.

Both girls have been SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT. Last night Charlotte slept from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am!!!! It's amazing. Of course tonight they've been unhappy messes but that's a whole other story.

It seems, whenever anyone else watches them for a significant period of time, they are all out of sorts when we get home. This is not a criticism, it happens no matter who else watches them. My theory is that everyone loves them so much, they spend all day holding them and playing with them and talking to them, and the girls don't get enough sleep and get way overtired and overstimulated. Then we come home and there's hell to pay.

We went in to NYC for a taping of the John Edward show today (that's John Edward the psychic, not the Democrat). It was really interesting and I'm very glad I went, but we didn't get a reading. I sort of expected we wouldn't. My mom kept saying, maybe it was just too soon. I, of course really wanted to hear from Jack, or someone saying they had Jack with them and he was okay. But, even though that didn't happen, I still left feeling even more confident that Jack is with us, and he's alright.

Anyway, my mother in law watched the girls all day and they were berserk tonight. SO fussy and unhappy and cranky and wouldn't eat, wouldn't sleep. Right now Katie is half crying in her swing, she's just so overtired. It's been a long night already and it's not even midnight. To top it off, PJ has a stomach virus (you do NOT want to know the details of that, I honestly wish he'd spared me some of them... LOL). So I do not want him anywhere near the girls. My sister in law stayed until almost 11 pm and helped me, thank god, but now I'm on my own. Yikes.

The point of this entry was to say how great the girls are doing, Charlotte's reflux seemed better, they've been sleeping so great.... and of course, as is always the case with babies, it's already started to go to hell... :) Hopefully tomorrow will be better....... even if it is Wednesday.

Oh the girls are so beautiful.. I just wanted to let you know that my little cousin who is two had her first tooth at 2.5 months and had enough to bite the nipple off her bottle at 4 months, at which point her mommy put her on a sippy. I does happen.

I am glad you got to go into the city and see edwards. But even without a reading, I know that Jack is with you always.

Megan - I love the slide show!!! Colin had 4 teeth for his first easter - so he was about 4 months old with 4 teeth. So, it is possible that the teeth are coming in.

I am sorry that you were not able to get a reading. Maybe it was just too soon.

I still pray for your family each and every day.

Your girls are beautiful!! About that teething, my daughter started on Mother's Day when she was only 4 months old, happy mothers day to me. lol She ran a fever and was super cranky! Of course, she also decided to do them 2 at a time instead of 1. lol Good luck with the teething, we are trying to get thru our last 2 year molar and I hope it is over SOON!!!LOL

I am so happy to hear that your girls are doing well and sleeping through the night!

Just have faith and believe that little Jack is in Heaven and rest assured that he is happy and healthy. There is no sickness and no tears in Heaven. You do not need a "reading" to know that. Be careful of those type people. It's all for money and show. Your little boy is safe.

Megan, I think about you all everyday. They say it does get easier as time goes by. You'll never forget but hopefully you won't as much as time passes.

The girls have gotten so big and they are just gorgeous! love the princess and the diva. So cute. Oh, and teething can start that soon. My Goddaughter got her first at 3 months. Now at 1 yrs old she has almost a full mouth!

Hang in there.

Love,

Love the new photo's the girls look gorgeous as always!! As for the teething, it can definitely happen this early! My big sister had her first at 2 months. Most of my kids showed signs between 2-3 months. Un fortunately for me, mine tended teeth for ages before actually getting teeth.

I am glad you found a sense of peace from the John Edwards show. I think he is awesome! I feel very strongly Jack is around you too. Don't ask me why or how. I just do...

the girls are beautiful, and hooray for sleeping through the night!

please don't put too much stock in people like john edward. it's all a game - they prey on vulnerable people in order to make money. know in your heart that jack is safe and happy in heaven, and that your girls have an angel watching over them.
