Crazy Week

So busy lately..... I guess part of it is just trying to get everything done while I still can.

Last night my husband received a citation for something that happened on his job - back in July while he was on duty they saved a guy who was stuck in a tree. Long story. Anyway, it was nice - we went to the town council meeting and he got his award and then we went to my favorite diner afterwards for dinner.

Doesn't he look thrilled?? It was hot and crowded in there - and we wanted to go eat!! :)

I haven't worn anything other than stretchy pants or maternity skirts in awhile..... putting on a dress last night was scary. PJ kept telling people I was smuggling a basketball. I did feel particularly HUGE.

Today our our new couch was delivered - it's really nice and really comfy but really big. It's taken over our living room. We spent all night trying to rearrange all the furniture but finally gave up..... something is just going to have to go.

I didn't get a pic of the couch yet, but here's our chair - the rocker recline which will be in the nursery:

It's REALLY comfortable. Not too pretty but who cares. This picture makes my house look like a mess..... that's all baby stuff in the background - waiting for the nursery to be ready!

Tonight my mom brought us dinner again - pork chops in gravy with egg noodles and carrots in butter, and a blueberry pie. It was really good. My mom is the best. It's amazing how nice it is to know dinner is taken care and you don't even have to think about it.

Tomorrow the carpet is being installed in the nursery. Here's a pic of the horrible carpet that's in there now:

Navy. Ugh. That's the new paint -it's a really pretty pale blue, which will look better when that carpet is gone. I actually took that picture to show that the cat refuses to give up the room. There is NOTHING in there and he still sleeps and spends all day in there..... he really thinks it's his room. He's in for a rude awakening.

Sort of sad, isn't it?? LOL

My nurse this morning told me that the babies would be going through a big growth spurt in the next week and to be ready. I can't imagine how much bigger I can get. Look at this: (WARNING - disturbing photo ahead.....)

Ok I warned you.

This is my stomach when I look down. Terrifying.

Veiny!! LOL
