Wait, what?
We’re not little babies anymore?
We don’t look like this?
And we don’t sleep in a crib but in a BED?
Well how the hell did that happen?
Wasn’t it only yesterday we were little enough to sleep together on a pillow?
No. Almost three years. The cribs were up for almost three years. And tonight, they came down.
The girls love their new beds. They couldn’t have been more excited. I felt half excited for them, and half terribly sad. I wish they could have stayed babies just a little bit longer. It’s the end for this house, I think, the end of cribs. The end of baby things.
I’ll miss them.

loved seeing Jack's crib too!
I got a few tears in my eyes looking at the picture of the three cribs. Sadly, i've been in the same situation. Your girls are adorable! They get cuter with every picture you post!

Awwww, big beds. That's a big step. A good one for the kids but hard for the mama.
We're about to take that step too. He's ready. I'm not.
I keep having to remind myself that having my girls grow up is a GOOD thing...I dread the day we take the cribs down. You're a brave mom!
Your picture of the three cribs made my heart ache. It is so hard to watch my survivors turn into big kids too.
the baby pics = too precious.... they grow too fast. The 3 cribs left me in tears. Missing Jack along with you - and i never even met him...
