Tails

I've been waiting a long long time for this moment.

I had two really bald babies. I FORCED bows to stick to their heads, somehow.... but it wasn't easy. But the bows were nothing compared to this...

PIGTAILS!!!!!!!!!

Finally!

I love it. I want them to wear pigtails EVERY day! And Katie would do it, but Charlotte, she's a tough sell. Lots of bribery (and distraction) is required to get these puppies in... Yo Gabba Gabba on the tv, some milk, maybe some pretzels, perhaps a little silly singing and dancing. It's worth it though because come on.... it's the cutest!!!

(Charlotte on the left, Katie on the right. Sorry for the messy faces - the only time I can get a picture of them is when they're stuck in their high chairs! :)

Not much else to report around here. We're waiting on the BIG STORM - maybe a foot of snow here by tomorrow night. At least the girls will get to wear their fancy (and expensive) snowsuits again. And by again I mean for a second time.... good thing we got them! LOL

They are adorable! I totally relate to the high chair pictures. The only pictures I have of my son from age 1 - 2 was when he was strapped into his high chair!

Yay for pigtails!! They look SO adorable with them :) BTW- How are the backs of your high chairs still so white? We had one lone spaghetti sauce smear on them and it stained the seat cover.

I SOOO relate. My daughter didn't have her first haircut until age four, because it took soooo long for her hair to grow in.

Your girls and their pigtails are adorable! :)

Too cute! I found your blog through someone I know. lol.

My girls had hair when they were born, lost it, and it grew back ... slowly. Now that I can put their hair up, I never do, because they both hate it. :( But boy when I do it is cute!

Love the Piggies! I was just able to put Morgan's hair in a top knot for the first time last week, she's 14 months. I have gone a little crazy buying all sorts of bows for her hair now. Don't worry about the highchair pics...we have a ton of those too! It's the one of the only ways I can get her to sit still as well. The other is the Wiggles. Unfortunately she doesn't sit still too long for that...she ends up dancing in circles. The girls are getting so big and are ridiculously adorable!

Love the "tails". I totally understand, My daughter hates for me to do anything to her hair...unless she has a tooth brush. If I give her a tooth brush she will let me do anything I want to to it.
They are so cute. I don't know how you tell them apart!
