Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope it was a wonderful day.

I am thankful for so many things this year... of course, the obvious ones, my beautiful girls, my sweet husband, my entire family, my funny cat. The way the girls have thrived and grown and are such fun, happy little girls. My Jack, and every moment I had with him, and the love we still feel for him and from him.

And I am so thankful for everyone who loved Jack, loves him still, remembers him, thinks about him, talks about him, keeps him in their hearts. Everyone who has shared with me how much they were touched by him, people from all over, people who never met Jack, or any of us. You have helped us through this hard year. I am thankful for you, and I thank you.

Now, look at the difference in my own little turkeys, from Thanksgiving 2007 ....

to Thanksgiving 2008....

They have personality, my girls, definitely have big personalities.

WOW - you have two beautiful girls and they are growing so fast. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving - we all have so much to be thankful for and I am sure our favorite little boy, Jack, was watching over all of you while you enjoyed your turkey dinner. Hope the Christmas holiday brings much joy, happiness and love to your house. God Bless you all.

Happy Thanksgiving! I can't quite believe how big your girls are getting... they are starting to look like little girls, not babies anymore. They are just beautiful!

This is random, but I thought I'd let you know something about myself. I'm 24 weeks pregnant with a little girl. My husband and I were writing out a list of names, and we came across Charlotte in a baby name book. I've loved it for a while (been a reader of your blog for over a year) but I didn't think he'd be crazy about it. Turns out he is, and that's our baby girl's name! Charlotte Elizabeth is due in March. I have just loved watching your kids grow and change this past year. I think of Jack often.

Happy Thanksgiving! Our blogs are sometimes listed with each other on BLogHer and I've commented before...
Just want you to know that my son, my one and only (it was not planned that way, but too much to go into here) will be 5 in a couple of weeks and he started out so little... and early,
and he is such a sweet little (actually huge) 'little man' now...
with as good as life is now- it only gets better :)
God Bless :)

I just took a peek at Jack's Toy Drive...I bet you can't believe how many gifts have been purchased off of the list!! Goes to show you how many people are thinking about him right now. It's such a great tribute to a fantastic little boy and so many other kids will get the "gift of Jack" because of it.

Once again I've been away for awhile. But alas, my school work is finally DONE, so I'm trying to catch up with my blogging friends. :)

I am another reader who thinks of your sweet Jack whenever I see butterflies now. I also think of him (and you) when I am struggling with my daughter. 4-year-olds can be a royal pain at times, but your story helps me to be greatful at ALL times, even when my daughter is on my last nerve.

And last, but not least...your girls are gorgeous as always. Their Thanksgiving dresses were SO pretty. It was really neat being able to compare their pics from a year ago. I am pleased for you that they both seem so happy and healthy. I wish you all the best...
