Week in brief

Thank you so much for all the kind comments on my last entry. It had been a 'day', that day, if you couldn't tell. Working on Jack's Golf Tournament doesn't bother me 99% of the time, it makes me feel closer to Jack if anything. But that night I was having so much trouble getting the PDF files loaded and I kept having to fool with them and rework them and over and over and over again, there was that picture of Jack. That little picture of my boy, with his fist in the air, in his brown and white striped outfit I'd bought him, under his little puppy blanket.... it started to wear me down. And then I laid in bed and cried and cried and couldn't sleep... got up, wrote everything rolling around in my head down on here, went back to bed and fell asleep.

This place is so much better (and cheaper) than therapy.

So my girls though, they are awesome awesome awesome. Charlotte says Mom.... a lot. OVER and OVER. It's more like Momomomomomomomomom.... it is THE.BEST.THING.EVER. She yells it when she wakes up, when I leave the room, or just whenever.

Katie is saying nothing but she's trying so hard to walk - she stands up and let's go for a second, panics and falls down. But she is so so close to standing alone, and has just started walking holding on to things, slowly.

They are the sweetest, happiest girls in the world.

And life goes on here, in our little house.

Here, in pictures, a recap of the last week.

We visited Daddy at the Firehouse....

We went to a children's museum with our cousin Owen, and seconds after this photo, Katie fell face first off the bench (ouch... bad mommy...)...

We went to the pool. We LOVE swimming in the pool!

We went for lots of walks in our pink cars.

We cried whenever Mommy left the room (pictures taken by Daddy....)

And we practiced walking (okay, in this clip Katie screamed off camera and Charlotte practiced walking!)

i've been trying for weeks to figure out who your girls remind me of. well, i was obsessed with 'full house' when i was a kid and your girls, from certain angles, look like mary kate and ashley olsen when they were babies. yeah, they're a bit crazy now, but they were really cute babies/kids --- same as your girls :)

I love the smiles because they are so big. Mommy's girls it happens. I am a SAHM and my son is a mommy's boy that is until my husband comes home! It is like he forgets about me. LOL
