Stop testing me.

Wow, so many guesses as to who is who! So fun! Most of them were correct - Katie is on the left, Charlotte on the right. As someone mentioned, Katie's birthmark is a giveaway, if all else fails. But it does seem to be the consensus that they look a LOT alike to everyone. I wonder if some day I will look back at their baby pictures and have no idea who I'm looking at.... I'll just have to lie. "Oh sure, that's, um... Katie. RIGHT, yes, definitely....." LOL.

So today, today, today. Today sucked. Really, really badly.

I try to be all 'zen' about life now, I really do. I try so hard. To keep things in perspective. To say, this is nothing! I've survived so much worse, I will not freak out about small things, I will not let the little every day problems beat me. I understand what life is all about now. I'm even sort of holier than thou about it... all the little people who worry about piddly little problems, they're so naive, so oblivious....... I know problems!

But today, it tested me. And my whole zen attitude went flying out the window. Zen is for suckers. I FREAKED out.

It wasn't when everyone decided 5:30 am was a great time to wake up.

It wasn't when Katie woke up soaked in pee.

It wasn't when Charlotte was covered in poop, and Katie put her hand in it.

It wasn't when Katie threw up all over my mother at the food court at the mall, and we had to leave.

It wasn't when the air conditioner in my living room blew the fuse for the second time.

It wasn't even when I tripped over the baby gate (for the third time) and went flying, breaking a glass vase, bruising my leg and arm and scaring my poor babies.

No, it was none of those things.

It was when I discovered the SPIDER INFESTATION....
.
.
.
IN THE NURSERY.

Tomorrow has just got to be a better day. Got to.

Wait, did you say 'spiders'?
That's it... we're out of here.

Ack! I would have freaked out and ran out of the house, with screaming babies and all.

Hopefully PJ will be able to take care of it!

I hope you have a better day today than you had yesterday. Days like that really suck.

I would have freaked about the spiders. I hope you get that cleared up soon. Yuck.

Oh, no, I can so relate!! We have huge spider problems every summer, too - apparently it is from the many, many maple trees we have looming over the house. Last summer, one night, they were all concentrated in my son Evan's room... he had to come sleep in our room... it wasn't pretty. This summer hasn't been so bad since we powerwashed around the sides of the house.

But if I found them in his brother's nursery, I'd totally freak, too. And after everything else that happened to you - what an awful day! Today has to be better. :)

What an awful day...today will be a better day. I hope you can get rid of the spiders and they don't return. We seem to have had a bunch of spiders also lately. It seems like they are always in the boys room also.

I feel your pain. We currently have a FLEA infestation in the basement. One of my cats that I've basically ignored since the baby was born has taken up residence down there among the old castaway furniture all the other junk that ended up down there and apparently started a whole flea world. We bombed, which freaked me out too, and now we have sluggish, slower moving fleas down there. The dumpster comes tomorrow and ALL OF IT is getting chucked. Its gonna be a fantastic weekend.

You are awesome! Love to read your blog. Such a great attitude and your sense of humor gets me. You take the good with the Bad! Which is awesome! Hope tomorrow is a better day. The girls are precious! I'm a twin. I have a twin sister so of course your girls facinate me! Too cute! I know you miss Jack. He is burried in your heart where he will always be. Take care! Kara from NEW JERSEY!

Yay, I guessed right. I guessed Charlotte by her funny faces... I decided Charlotte had to be the one with those :)

And, uh, did you say spiders?! NOT OK. HOLY LORD. EW!!!

Oh, I would have freaked out too. I freeze up around spiders. In fact, while cleaning the basement during pregnancy, I had one crawl across my hand and I screamed so loud that I peed my pants. I have no bladder control at the moment.

Spiders = one of my worst fears

I will be honest...I couldn't tell them apart!!! And a birthmark? Where, I didn't see it? Even looking back now I don't see it. Well any way...both are just adorable!! Sorry you had such a bad day. I don't do spiders either!! I'd have to wait for my husband to get home...did PJ take care of them? Love the picture of the girls "getting away" from the spiders!!! Too cute. To better days!!

I love the pic of your girls in their runaway spider car! Priceless! You have a wonderful way of writing. I hope the spiders are gone and you get to sleep in a little longer tomorrow! By the way, 5:30 is sleeping in for me-my son is an early to bed, early to rise so he is up bright and early every morning, 5 am on the dot!
