Anarchy

Chaos has begun here at our little (and I mean little) house. EVERYONE is mobile, like little monkeys. Both girls crawl, Charlotte is a speed demon on all fours. I turned my back for a minute yesterday and she was GONE - I found her giggling in the kitchen.

Katie crawls but what she's really interested in is climbing, standing and walking. She doesn't want to do anything but stand herself up, try and climb onto things and try to walk. She's into everything. She climbs up on that little bike in the video I posted the other day, and uses it as a kind of walker, pushing it across the floor. Poor Charlotte keeps trying to climb on too but usually ends up being run over.

Writing this is the longest I've sat down in two days.

No one slept last night, both girls were up from 3:30 am to almost 6am. I don't know why but my guess is teething - Katie finally got a tooth and a second one is starting to pop through. Her crying woke up Charlotte.

I'm exhausted.

Katie has started saying Mama, and she definitely means me when she says it. That makes all the craziness worth it.

That's my half asleep update. Now I get to take two insane babies to Music Together class by myself. I hope I don't fall asleep during Little Rabbit Foo Foo. Because trust me, it could happen.

Oh boy...things I have to look forward to in the very near future. At least you're burning calories chasing them around, right?

Your girls are absolutely adorable. I am friends w/ Rachel - mom of William and Daniel. You are a wonderful writer! I've read thru your blog - Jack story - what to say? He was a beautiful baby....had a look in his eyes that spoke volumes. Hugs... Betsy

There is absolutely nothing wrong with dozing off during Music Together classes. I've come pretty close myself.

They are so adorable!
