Charlotte's Car Seat Test

Charlotte passed her car seat test!! She actually seemed to enjoy it. We just sat and watched her for an hour and laughed... even the nurses were entertained. They said the babies always either sleep through them (which Katie did) or scream through them. Not Charlotte... she fought sleep for most of it, wanting to look around and check everything out. I took this video with my camera - it's short, but watch to the end for the BIG smile.

So the girls are coming home tomorrow. I am really excited. I feel a little less nervous than I did a week ago when we thought Katie was coming home. We're more prepared. And it just feels right they should both be home.

Jack is doing pretty well. He had some normal post-op problems today, but nothing big. He was swollen but they were giving him lasiks (sp?) to help him pee, and he had to be under the light again they use for jaundice. Other than that, they said he's doing really well - he was rambunctious today, trying to pull out his tube and turn his head... all good signs. It will take a couple days to really see if it helped, but so far so good.

AGAIN thank you everyone for the kind words and prayers. I feel so out of touch with what's going on in everyone else's world, maybe some day I'll be able to catch up with everyone... when the kids go to kindergarden maybe. :)

Aw, what a cute video! Love that giant smile.... just think, in a few short weeks, she'll be giving you those big grins :)

About your comment on my blog, you're my triplet pregnancy hero! You made it 32 weeks for goodness sake. You did everything right. So, don't you dare feel guilty!

Hi it's MrsGabbs4Ed from the Nest!! The video was very cute. I love how they had the Chris Daughtry song "Home" playing in the background. How appropriate! :o)
