Hat Day

Grandma bought the girls some hats.... even preemie size is a little too big! They look SO CUTE though.

Miss Katie

Little Charlotte

Girls are doing great. Katie is back in the open crib again, so we'll see how that goes. She may be home soon!

Jack is holding steady. New plan - they didn't try and take him off the vent, instead they're going to SLOWLY wean him off it, gradually turning it down so he does more and more of the work. Trick him into breathing, basically. He still has the murmur - it actually sounds louder. So they're doing another EKG today to see what's up with that. He looks good though, gaining weight and hanging in there.

Thanks for all the nice notes about me getting to hold him. It was so wonderful - I can't wait to do it again!

Tomorrow I'm getting a haircut and new highlights, and then a trip to the OB where he'll HOPEFULLY tell me I can drive again. I can't wait. :)

It's good to hear that they are improving every day. The girls are adorable! :-)

Hopefully tricking Jack into breathing will do the job. Keeping you in my thoughts!

Sometimes, when a PDA is closing, the murmur actually gets louder because the blood is going through a smaller opening, thus making more noise. When a murmur goes away suddenly, it might actually mean that the PDA is wide open. So I am hoping that Jack's louder murmur means that his PDA is on its way to being closed!
