My LaLa

I've been trying for a week to write this entry. I wanted to write about each of the girls, who they are now - and it's really incredibly hard. I don't even know where to begin. They're very complicated for not even being two years old..... :) And first up is Charlotte.

Charlotte (also known as LaLa)

Loves: animals, flowers, purses, jewelry, telephones of all kinds



Favorite Foods: macaroni and cheese and MILK. She's a milk fiend. We call her Milky Cabrera.
Also likes ketchup, butter, cookies, pretzels and waffles. Definitely my pickier eater.

Favorite TV Show: Wow Wow Wubbzy

Favorite Place: The Park. LaLa loves to climb, I swear she is part monkey. She is so close to climbing out of her crib and i caught her climbing into Katie's crib.



Enjoys buckling and unbuckling, turning light switches on and off, singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider, her Little People Doll House, her mini trampoline (LOVES to jump) and her baby dolls.

Charlotte is so hard to sum up. Since the day she was born she has been CHARLOTTE. That's the only way to describe her. She has this spark. She has so much personality and life and sense of humor. And she makes crazy faces, always did.


Crazy Charlotte, then and now....

She has definite opinions on what she likes and doesn't like. She can be very affectionate and loves snuggling and hugs and kisses from adults but doesn't like Katie or other kids to hug her or kiss her. She does think Katie is hysterical and is always giggling at her and with her. She doesn't talk as much as Katie, and i think that's her main problem right now. She knows what she wants but can't tell us and it makes her really frustrated.



This is her trying to say why is there no butter on my bread? WHY?

She doesn't back down. She is not a Mommy's girl (that's Katie) - she is always the first to run and hug Daddy and loves loves loves Grandma, but if I leave the room she freaks out and stands at the gate screaming relentlessly until I come back. She always wants me nearby and wants to be able to see me, and as long as she knows I'm there she's outgoing and friendly and not at all shy.

She is my animal lover. She gets so excited over every animal she sees from fish to cats to the bear at the zoo. Her favorite though is still dogs. Loves dogs, loves loves. Katie is mildly interested in animals, Charlotte is madly in love.


LaLa and Aunt Megan's puppy... and please note LaLa's stylish necklace, which she took off Mommy's neck.

She is my girly girl. She loves to wear jewelry, carries a purse on her arm everywhere, lets me put her hair in pigtails, loves to walk around in other people's shoes, and is in general a diva.



Typical conversation:
Me: Who wants to watch Gabba?
Katie: Yessss!
LaLa: Nah
Me: Max and Ruby?
Katie: YESSSS!!
LaLa: Nah
Me: Backyardigans?
Katie: Yessss!!
LaLa: Nah
Repeat with Dora, Mickey, Elmo etc. etc. until I get to what LaLa wants to watch (aka Wubbzy).

Like I said, she knows what she wants.

She is my monkey and my girly girl. My sweet baby and stubborn toddler. My easy going child and hysterical crier. My funny girl. A character. A sweetheart.
