Girly Girls

The weekend went really, really well. We had fun in Atlantic City, and the girls had a great time with Daddy. I got myself very anxious and worked up on Friday about leaving them, but once we were on the road I was fine. And they were fine, and PJ was fine.... I think it actually brought them all a little bit closer. They've always loved their Daddy but now, forget it, they're crazy about him.

The biggest surprise of the weekend is that I actually kind of WON in Atlantic City. Nothing huge but I came home with almost as much money as I left with - and that's after shopping at the outlets. In my book (a book in which I am usually a huge loser who comes home without even money for tolls...) that makes me a BIG winner.

My little Charlotte has always been a lover of jewelry, since she was a little baby she was fascinated with necklaces, bracelets, earrings. She loves wearing my mom's bracelets and is constantly trying to pull off my necklace and earrings. She also LOVES purses, and not toy purses, only real (she seems to prefer Coach or Vera Bradley. And not Coach-flea market-knockoffs, she knows the difference. I swear).

There was a Claire's at the outlets and I bought both girls some beads and bracelets and little bags. Charlotte puts it all on, waves her hand around to show off her bracelets and smiles this crazy smirk, like she just KNOWS she's cute.

I have always wished for girly girls, as girly as possible. This may become a case of, be careful what you wish for....

Look deeeeep into my eyes.... you will buy me jewelry.... it will be PLATINUM not plastic.... all purses will be from Neiman's and not little purple 'pleather' bags with pictures of puppies on them....

and sweet little Katie. She likes the pleather purple puppy purse we bought her. :)

I'm so glad you had a nice time. Nothing says fun like outlet shopping WITHOUT kids! My husband and I got to go out of town for a few days without any of our 5 and it was heavenly to go shopping!! Good luck with your 'little' shopper....

Melissa is obsessed with shoes, jewelry, and purses...oh and the phone (land line and cell my blackberry). I am going to be in so much trouble. I thought I had the market cornered as the in-house fashionista.....

pleather...I love it! Maybe I live in a hole but I've never heard of that term. I'm using it from now on. :) Glad you had a good time in AC.

I just came across your blog and too have surviving triplets. Our daughter became an angel the day your triplets were born. Your kids are adorable and sounds like you are coping just as we are... one day at a time and cherishing every moment with your survivors.

love the new header.

too funny that she is in to the designer purses but with that sweet look on her precious face I can see how it would be hard NOT too!
