Nine Months

The babies turned nine months old on Friday, and I kind of missed it... no pictures were taken, unfortunately. My excuse (and I think it's a pretty good one) is that we were staying at my parent's house Friday to Saturday while our house was fumigated. For the previously mentioned spiders.

Wednesday is our 9 months pediatrician appointment, so i will take the pictures and do the update then. In the meantime, some interesting tidbits from http://www.babyzone.com/. Their numerologist predicts your babies personality based on their name - how many letters, how many are consonants, vowels, etc. Our (sort of terrifying) results:

Charlotte Elizabeth Ourlastname

The name Charlotte Elizabeth reflects drive, a pioneering spirit, leadership, independence and originality. The energy behind this name is strong and forceful and promotes an unconventional, innovative, and decisive approach. Highly focused and self-reliant, the name Charlotte Elizabeth carries with it an unmistakable "can do" attitude. It reflects confidence, energy, strength and perseverance. There is a definite sense of danger and risk-taking as well. (OH BOY! says Mom)

The name Charlotte Elizabeth does not inspire patience and sensitivity, and does not promote cooperation or a diplomatic approach to problem solving. (OH NO! says Mom again)

Charlotte Elizabeth's most positive characteristics: Strength, originality, courage, imagination, creativity, confidence. Good for competitive, high-risk ventures. (Lord Help me. )

Charlotte Elizabeth most negative characteristics: Pride, intolerance, aggressiveness. Not good for people-oriented ventures or healing, counseling and retail businesses. (Hahahah... not going to be a doctor or work at the Gap, eh Charlotte?)

Kathleen Margaret Ourlastname

Responsible, caring, loving, nurturing, healing and comforting, the name Kathleen Margaret is warm and makes one feel loved and special. Harmonious and peaceful, the name Kathleen Margaret feels good to anyone. Kathleen Margaret is neutral, suitable for those for whom stability and harmony are high priorities. (Aw, my sweet Katie.... )

The name Kathleen Margaret makes one feel like a home away from home. It offers protection and love. It takes away anxiety and fears, and heals the broken-hearted. If you want others to feel like this is their home, this is their safe haven, then this is an excellent name. (Ok, this made me cry. Honestly. Katie does take away my anxiety and help heal my broken heart and so does risk taking Charlotte.)

Kathleen Margaret's most positive characteristics: Protective, harmonious, comfortable to all. (My sweetie)

Kathleen Margaret's most negative characteristics: Stick-in-the-mud. No passion. (Huh. We'll see, babyzone numerologist!! You don't know everything!)

And, out of curiosity, I did Jack... this one line stuck out the most to me...

Jackson Philip Malia has the power and potential to achieve great things.

Yes, he does... still. And he will!

Happy 9 months my sweet babies.

Did you mean to not put "Ourlastname" instead in Jack's? Just thought I'd warn you in case you didn't notice it. :/
